CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. -- School Service Personnel play a critical role in supporting the success of children in Jefferson County. Their efforts keep schools running smoothly, provide students with an education, nutritious food, clean and inviting spaces to learn, and safe transportation every day. Jefferson County Schools will join districts across the state in honoring this work by celebrating West Virginia School Service Personnel Day. The date was set as September 23 through a proclamation by Gov. Jim Justice earlier this year.
Schools will be holding special events and offering treats to celebrate school service personnel and will continue to honor their work throughout the year.
