Thank you for your interest in Jefferson County Schools! We are happy to welcome you to our community. Our goal is to make registering new students during the summer as simple as possible. Information and resources are listed below. If you need additional support, please contact the school that your child will attend. 

Register for Next School Year (2024-25)

24-25 Pre-K Registration

Please bring your completed registration packet to the Head Start/Pre-K site on the T.A. Lowery Elementary School campus (brick building to the right) at 221 Warm Springs Rd., Shenandoah Junction. Letters about placement in Pre-K will be sent in mid-June.

How to Register a Student

Step 1: Gather Required Documents

West Virginia requires parents/caregivers to provide specific documents to register a student in school.

It is important to know which school your student will attend.

If you are registering a new student for the 2024-2025 school year, you will need to complete the JCS Student Registration form and provide the required documents to complete the registration process.
